Ὑπατία, Hypatia: Of supreme character. From ὕπατος (hypatos), highest, supremest, most high.

Ὑπατόδωρος, Hypatodoros: Of a supreme gift. From ὕπατος (hypatos), highest, supremest, most high, and δῶρον (doron), gift.

Ὑπερείδης, Hypereides: Supporting. From ὑπερείδω (hypereido), put under as a support, set up.

Ὑπώρεια, Hyporeia: Of a mountain. From ὑπώρεια (hyporeia), foot of a mountain, skirts of a mountain range.

Ὑπερίων, Hyperion: A supreme being. From ὑπέρ (hyper), super, and ἰών (ion) <

εἶμι (eimi), to be.

Ὑψίκλεια, Hypsikleia: Of highest glory. From ὕψος (hypsos), height, and κλέος (kleos), glory.

Ὑψικλῆς, Hypsikles: Of highest glory. From ὕψος (hypsos), height, and κλέος (kleos), glory.

Ὑψικράτης, Hypsikrates: Of highest authority. From ὕψος (hypsos), height, and κρατῶ (krato), to rule.

Ὑψιπύλη, Hypsipyle: Of a high gate. From ὕψος (hypsos), height, and πύλη (pyle), gate.
